I called my photography company Eterno Dia, which means Eternal Day in Spanish. That’s how I view photography. Capturing a moment, sad or joyful, that as time passes and memory fades, can be relived through a picture.
I have had a camera in my hands since I was about 9. I am a documentarian. I wanted a photo of every moment so I would be able to remember all my experiences vividly. Band camp, vacations, work events, summer afternoons, sunsets; It began to dawn on me that I should really pursue photography more seriously because it’s who I am. I have a day job, which I love. It pays the bills, but I’m still incomplete without my camera. Whenever I don’t have my camera, I wish I did.
How am I different from all the other photographers out there? I’m still not sure if I have a “style”. I like to think that I’m versatile, and I am constantly striving to learn new techniques, so I don’t want to limit myself to a particular style. I’m drawn to candid photography, seeing people naturally in a moment of their real life. I love travel photography. I want to show you how other people live; to show our differences, and our similarities. I want to show you places you’ve never been to. I want you to feel inspired and awed.
My portfolio has families, pets, weddings and landscapes, but I am willing to try anything. I am inspired by photographing everything from once-in-a-lifetime moments to everyday joys like dandelions and goldfish. I like experimenting with new styles and tricks. If you have an idea for a photo shoot, please let me know. Feel free to comment on photos, provide feedback or contact me directly. Thank you for your support!
